My Super Man and My Super Woman :)

Alhamdulillahirabbilalamin o:) Thanks God for everything . Thanks for giving me the two persons that make my life almost perfect. I know nobody is perfect, but my life is almost perfect because of the two persons . I am nothing without them . God, please bless them. I love them so much :)

My Progress and My Experiences in Write Some Essays in Writing 2 Class

“Make writing became your habit! All changes in this world come from the pen and writing”. That was a good tweet that I ever read on my social account “twitter”. Every people had different hobbies, one of those hobbies that gave many benefits for people was “writing”. For example, by writing a diary, you can share what you can not share with your friend, you can get money and many experiences. However, not a few people think that writing is not easy. I think to write an essay, there are many elements that should be more attention by the writer. Such as new ideas, interesting topic, main idea and the sentences should be coherence each other. The important thing in writing is people having good mood. I got many lessons about how to write a good essay easy in writing 2 classes. In this essay I will tell about my progress and my experiences in write some essays as long as I follow the short semester class. 

In the first meeting, the lecturer asked us to give our own opinion about how to get score A in the writing 2 class. The class began at 13.30 pm. My lecturer introduced her self before studying. Her name is Mrs. Leni Marlina. After that, the lecturer asked us to give our own opinion about how to get score A in writing 2 class. Each student had different their own opinion. I think, to get score A in writing 2 class, we should read more. Reading many books could improve our knowledge and gave us many additional information. And also in writing, we should give our own idea, our own word and no plagiarism. If we used opinion of someone, we should state on  our essay.
 In the second meeting, the lecturer asked us to write two essays. First essay about “the student weaknesses and strengthens in writing “and second essay about “the student efforts to get score A in writing 2 class”. The lecturer's command made me confused and tired because I should write two essays in one day. And this is a Ramadan Month. What a bad day! But everything has changed since my lecturer teached us about how to write good essays easy and gave us some references and material about how to write the essay.
Although my lecturer asked us to write some essays again, it did not make me confused and tired anymore. I wrote the essays with happy and I enjoyed it. There were many ways that I did as long as I wrote some essays. There were two types of essay that I have done; narrative and discussion essay. I wrote the essays based on my lecturer explanation and I got some sources from the internet. The first way in write an essay, I wrote an outline. My lecturer always reminded us to write an outline before writing an essay. It would make me easy to develop my idea. After that, I developed my outline in draft. I copied my draft and I asked my friend to review it, so I could know my mistake and I might correct it before I continued to write in paragraph. That process called ‘peer reviews’. Next, I developed my draft in some paragraphs. At least there are three paragraphs in an essay, consist of introductory paragraph, body and conclusion.
Furthermore, I thought if I already finished to write an essay in paragraph my essay have finished, but it was wrong. The processes in producing good essays not finish yet; I should copy my essay and shared it to my group. I asked my group to review and give their own opinion or additional idea about my essay. One group consists of 3 or 4 students. This process called ‘group reviews’. What a confused process that was! But I enjoyed it.
After my group finished reviews my essays, I collected my essay to my lecturer and my lecturer corrected them. My first essay I got 80 point. That was a great beginning. My lecturer corrected my essay and gave her opinion. My lecturer also always reminded us “to get a high score you should revise and check your essay many times”, “it will make your essay better”. I always remembered that. According to Lauren Starkey (how to write great essays, 2004) there were perfect times in reviewed essay ¼ of your time prewriting and organizing, ½ writing and ¼ revising and editing. You could use concept mapping for explore your topic. 

In conclusion, writing an essay is not too difficult if I have the will and ready to change. Because of my willingness and my lecturer, my writing skill is better than before and also I can be a reviewer and review my essay and my friend's essay. I can do that based on my knowledge and my experiences which I got as long as I follow writing 2 class with Mrs. Leni Marlina. Moreover, to make your essay more interesting makes your topic flexible and interesting which use 5 w question; who, where, when, why and what. In addition you should use right word to convey your ideas, (Lauren Starkey, how to write great essays, 2004). And if you know the steps and understand what to do and writing would be easy and even fun.

Getting Married While in College: Bad or Good Idea?

Marriage is a common phenomenon which is important thing for human society which man and woman can live together after they got marriage licenses. The main purposes of getting married are having children and create a happy family.Every people want to get married, not only for normal people but also the abnormal one like gay. People have their own preferred time for getting married; appropriate age for marriage usually is 25 for women and 28 for men, but now is different. Most of the people prefer get married while they are still in college, rather than wait until they have graduated and completed their education. They think that getting married at young age can give them more freedom and better life than before. They can live together with their couple without feeling afraid and free doing what they want. However, it will interfere with their concentration in study if they have children. People who get married when in college can plan future together. Thus, in this essay I will discuss why some students decided to get married when they are in college and why some of them prefer to finish their study first.

University is a place for students to pursuit knowledge. The main purpose is to get knowledge and bright future. Moreover, most of the students also think that college is place where students not only get knowledge but also get experience and mate for future life, so there are some of them seeking a mate during the course. There are several benefits of getting married while in college, the first one is getting married when in college is helpful for financial problem, can ease the burden of woman or man or both of them when they were in college. In other word after married, the tuition of woman can be covered by man or jointly, it will very helpful for each other. The second benefit is the student who married when lectures will be protected from gossip and slander. As we know most of the students have their partners called boyfriend or girlfriend. They often spend time on campus and out campus together and this will cause a scandal and gossip about what they are doing out there, but if they have officially became a married couple, they would be able to avoid the rumors. In addition getting married while in college has an awareness of family life for married and responsible form of rights and obligations of both wife and husband. For example, the young couple will be responsible for duties, not only the campus but also the obligation of duty as a wife or husband.

The fourth benefit is the student who getting married in college can get a head start from all of the others; it means if the student decide to have children, then they are going to be older when their friends start having children. This is can be as a good thing. They are younger and can take all of that energy they have. The last is when getting married at a young age; student will be able to plan future together. They can together make a plan what they will be in future, how many children that will they have. The couple can helped each other to guide them in make decision if they have a lot of planning. They have o think about what will they do and how they were do to reach their goals.

 On the other hand, getting married when going to college can break the concentration of duties and responsibilities increase, if the student is not too smart and not too focus then maybe learning is impaired, or could be problematic for their studies, their family or both. Next, when the student has children it is also can be a difficult challenge. They will be parents who have duties and should have more responsibilities, not only for themselves but also for their children. Studying and working can be stressful on them. In fact, students in college should active in studies, because basically adults learn best when doing it self.  If they are married while in college they will be not active anymore because students who are married can not divide the time the family will beat the liveliness in the lecture.  As in the case of faces changes him physically, emotionally, and socially. For those young men who married young, because the state of the condition, there are teenagers who have not independently. Moreover, divorce also being a problem in marriage. According to Eshleman (1994) “ basically, though, the responsibilities of marriage are just too much for a 19-25 year old to handle.

In conclusion, many couples who decide to get married while in college deliberately choose to delay having children until they are finished with their education and established in their career. Having children is the main purpose of a marriage, having children will not disturb their education; even a child would be a motivation for the students to learn more and graduating soon. By getting married, they think, they will solve their personality conflicts with one another, or they will get away from home, or they will fulfill their physical and emotional needs. Getting married when college also can release the couple from the loneliness and they can plan their future together soon compared to others. However, there are many factors that should be considered by couple who want to get married during college.

Some Efforts that Should I Do to Achieve Score A in Writing 2 Class

Yes I Get score A!! This is the statement that wants to be shouted by every students, right? Me too. What will you do to reach high score? Will you do everything to get high score? I think students will do everything to get high score. I will do the same. But every lecturer or teacher has different ways in giving score. And each student also has different efforts to achieve high score. I have some efforts that I will do to achieve score A. In this essay I will tell about some efforts that should I do to get score A especially in writing 2 class.

The common way in get score A is doing all of the lecturer’s command. This is the usual way that should be done by students. The first one that will I do to achieve score A in writing 2 class is I will look at to myself, I have to know about my weaknesses and my strengthens in writing, I have to pay attention on my own writing style.  I have to know what I like and what thing that make me feel comfortable in writing. People who know the step and understand what to do would be easy to and even fun.

The second is having big willingness. If I have already known about my style, I should have big willingness 0f something new or I should have more initiative to get new issues or new information. The big willingness in writing made me feel have responsible to write and I would finish my essay as well as and as soon as possible.

The third is finding interesting topic and new ideas. I will read more. I will read many references that related to my topic such as reading article or blog other writers, browsing from internet, watching TV, listening to the radio and so on. However, I should not cheat the sentence similarly; I should find my own word and develop the idea base on my own word.

The fourth is practicing or doing many exercises. I have to write more and more. I should not be afraid of doing mistake anymore, because doing a mistake is kind of process in writing. There are some people who are smart but they lazy to do exercise. This problem is usually experienced by boy students. Actually they are smart, but they will not do exercise. It is not good for people if they want to be a writer.

The fifth is discussing with my friend. I need someone or many people to review my essay and give their opinion about my mistake. Their opinion will help me to improve my idea and also to correct my mistakes. After my friend review my essay, I can discuss with them about my essay and I can correct my essay before I collect to my lecturer. This process should be done because it is not only make your writing skill better but also you will have skill in reviewing someone’s essay.

In conclusion, to get score A in Writing 2 I should learn and practice more. I will often consult with my lecturer.  The most important thing is I may not be afraid doing a mistake, because in writing the essay needs a process which doing a mistake is a progress to be a good writer.  Besides that, to make my effort perfect I should pray and ask God bless me.

My Own Weaknesses and Strengths in Writing

Do you feel alone? or do you have no friends to share what you are feeling ? You do not being afraid! I have a way to make you don not feel the loneliness anymore. The best way is writing. Writing is the best way to escape you from loneliness; you can write everything that you feel although you have no friends. You can start from simple way such as by writing a diary, writing poems, short story, novel and your interesting topic. However, not a few people think that writing is difficult. There are many elements that should be more pay attention by writer such as new ideas, interesting topic, main idea and the coherence between the sentences. I think the important thing in writing is people having good mood. If people are not in good mood, it will be difficult for them to get an idea and to write it down. Moreover, each person has weaknesses and strengthens in writing, including me. In this essay I will tell about my weaknesses and strength in writing.

I am interested in writing but I have some problems in writing. Actually I have strong desire to write. Someday, I hope I can be a good or professional writer. I am very happy if someone has time to read my essays and give me about his or her opinion. It belongs to my strength in my way on being a good writer. I have many weaknesses rather than my strenghtens in writing.

My first weakness is in finding new ideas. It was difficult to find an idea for me. For example, when I had a task about an essay, I needed a long time and more patients to think about idea that I would write. Sometimes it made me lazy and I left my pen because I still did not get the idea yet. Moreover, finding good idea or something new is important thing in writing. People who had a good idea in writing would make their essay interesting and readers would be interested in reading that essay. But I had a way to solve my problem in getting an idea. I though the best way is reading more. By reading many books I got more knowledges and the additional information that related to my topic.

My second weakness is about grammar. My grammar is not clear enough; I mean that sometimes I wrote in wrong grammar, and it made me lazy to write an essay or article because I am afraid that the readers laughed at me. Although I tried to write well many times but I still made a mistake about the grammar. For example, sometime I missed verb or subject in my sentence and used wrong tenses in my essay.

My third weakness is less of vocabulary. I still had less vocabulary. Many vocabularies are needed in writing to make writer easier to write and make the essay more interesting, because they should not use the same and repeated word many times. For example, writer can use ‘silent’ for the first paragraph and ‘quiet’ in next paragraph which the two words has similar meaning. It would not make the reader bored. By reading many books it could solve my problem about vocabulary.

In conclusion, even though I have many weaknesses compared strengths in writing I should not be lazy in writing an essay if I still want to achieve my dream become a good writer. I have to do many exercises, read and learn more. Another way that should I do is I should read many sources about how to write great essays.
